On the 15th of February we will be celebrating the 11th year of International Angelman Day. You can join us in raising awareness for Angelman Syndrome by using the template below to request your local authorities to light the buildings and landmarks in blue.

I am writing to you today with a special lighting request for [Location Name]. We are looking to light up as many U.K. landmarks as possible for International Angelman Day on February 15, 2024, and we ask that you LIGHT IT BLUE for us.
International Angelman Day is a community-driven event. Over 50 Angelman Syndrome (AS) organisations globally use February 15 as a day to raise awareness in their country and to raise much-needed funds to help them achieve their objectives. Many amazing landmarks around the world, including Niagra Falls(Canada), La Diosa Cibeles (Spain), A’DAM Toren (Netherlands), Burj Khalifa(UAE), the State Capitol of Pennslyvania (USA), The BT Tower (London) and many more have been lit-up in blue to commemorate this special day.
