The clinic is held every 6 months at Saint Mary’s Clinic in Manchester and is for children and adults
with AS. Patients/families can choose to attend either virtually or in person. Prior to the
appointment, you will be asked to complete a pre-clinic questionnaire to help the clinical team best
prepare for your appointment to ensure that your time in clinic is used most effectively. You will also
be asked to complete a feedback form after your clinic appointment. This data helps us to
understand what we do well and how we might adapt our clinical service to best fit the needs of our
patients and families.
If you would like to be referred to the specialist clinic, you can request a referral via the GP or other
specialist clinic. For referrals from outside of England, your referring clinician may wish to contact
the clinic prior to referral to find out about funding. Referrals should be written and addressed to Dr
